The world can sometimes be very complicated.
A world made of glitter, party lights and music to dance to is the world of SōMuch. A Retro NūVō Sound, that revisits the vibrant atmosphere of the music in the late 70s.
Picture yourself entering a club and being transported to a new world, a disco/dance flavor, to be a part of the party on the dance floor and doing it all night long. Free from thoughts and worries.
EP realized with the contribution of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – Italian Culture Department

Drummer. Fun and discipline are his music guidelines. Francesco is always up for a good time and good company. Love’s Nile Rodgers and Chic.
Vocalist and “handyman” of SoMuch. She writes, organises, manages while pursuing her career as a digital strategist.
“Dr. Bass” is what we call him. A doctor is what he is studying to become but, in the meantime, he fills every song with with such passion and groove. He is a fan of the bass legend Bernard Edwards.
Vocalist. She loves singing, dancing and acting. She’s been doing all this for more than 10 years. She devotes all her free time to writing lyrics and melodies and Gaston, her black and white cat.
Guitarist and composer in the band. When he’s not composing, working, studying or riding his bike, he always finds the time to come up with new riffs and new tracks.

The story of SoMuch begins in 2017. Thanks to a Christmas gift. The gift was Ralph Rolle. The drummer for Nile Rodgers and The Chic.
Back in 2013, Valentina (vocalist), together with some colleagues and musician friends founded her first band, “The Giggers”: a collective of 10 people who were passionate about soul and funk music. Through the years, various people alternated on stage. In 2014, Roby (vocals) and Francesco (drums) joined the band. Later in 2016, Andrea (guitar) and Andrea (bass guitar) joined as well. Disco music’s retro flavor takes over in the band’s repertoire and the influence of the 70s and the 80s becomes the true guide and direction of the band’s sound.
Many concerts in squares, parties, and fairs: wherever a party band is needed, the Giggers are on the front line.
On a cold November afternoon, Roby – scrolling through her Instagram feed – comes across an advertisement: Ralph Rolle, the drummer for Nile Rodgers and Chic, was giving one-to-one classes in England. Roby decides to get a special Christmas gift for Francesco (as you might’ve guessed, the two are a couple both in music and in life).
On the 7th of December 2017, Roby and Francesco fly to Manchester, England. They met Ralph and became friends. From then on, SoMuch’s path is marked. No one could have ever imagined what would happen in just a few years.
Ralph becomes Francesco’s mentor. October 19, 2019, magic happens. Roby and Francesco ask Ralph to listen to a demo of a song written by Andrea (guitar) called, “You gave me love”.
Ralph is literally thrilled by what he heard and asks if he can produce the song. He offers to fly to Italy to produce the track!
In January of 2020 and from out of the original band “The Giggers”, SoMuch was born. The production of the first two tracks, under Ralph Rolle’s guidance began. After the completion of production of those tracks, a global pandemic breaks out. The realization of the album suffers a 20 month setback.
The pandemic proved to be a musical positive for SoMuch. Great songs were written during the time at home.
